Japanese Village, Bukit Tinggi

Thursday, January 31, 2013 / , , ,

It was my first time to Bukit Tinggi, boyfriend brought me to there for my early birthday celebration during weekend. I think most of the people went there, Japanese village is one of their must-visit-places at Bukit Tinggi. Japanese Village is designed by a Japanese architect, Mr Kaio Ariizumi. To me, one day is enough to visit Bukit Tinggi as there are not much to do other than sightseeing and some outdoor activities that they organized. You have to reach the Japanese village by car or shutter bus, and walked up the slope in order to reach the Japanese tea house. Seriously it took me an effort to reach there!

Footpath to Japanese Village

Rented the kimono costume (Japanese garment) for RM20 (20 minutes only), did a photography session over Japanese village and the photographer is my boyfriend! At least the RM20 is worthwhile! There are tea ceremony there which costs RM28 per person but we didn't have enough time to join, so pictures will do!

2013 Birthday Dinner with Mr D

Sunday, January 27, 2013 / , , , , ,

This was the third birthday I've celebrated with my current boyfriend, flashing back the memories that we've been through, it's not like a dream to me. As I am not young anymore, don't have much time to think of having a fancy and adventurous relationship. I may be a realistic girl, who needs a man that could bring a sense of security. It's true, this is an elemental requirement for a guy. Imagine if you be with someone that you don't see any future in him? Yes, an old girl (considered as woman) talks like that. Marriage is still long way to go, even though I noticed many people around me are married. but I am blessed to have a man that I am actually feel secured staying with him.

Speaking of my birthday, didn't really throw a party, but still managed to celebrate with friends and babes separately. And I've never expected to receive presents from em! So happy and thank you. Boyfriend celebrated my birthday earlier but on the actual day, he still took me for a romantic birthday dinner at Mezze bistro, Medan Damansara.

Mezze restaurant is a romantic place to dine in. Their price is reasonably average and for those who love wine, you must pay a visit! As their wine selections are more than you could imagine! There was a helpful sommelier helping us to choose wine based on our preference. I give one more like! He helped us to save our time searching wine from the long list.

I like somewhat fruity taste so he recommended this, René Muré Gewürztraminer.

Review: Unico Skin Care

Sunday, January 20, 2013 /

Choosing a right skin care product is very important, as a bad skin care product will affects your skin condition, indirectly causes bad emotion too. Who wish to go out with a bad skin condition? To have a good skin, it's not an easy task, you have to take care of your skin everyday.

My skin is not perfect like the celebrity, however I am proud of my skin. Even though I have acne-free skin, some skin problems I am having are dark circles, blackheads and whiteheads. Glad to received skin care products from Unico Store half month ago, they chose the products according to my skin problem. I've tried their products personally, the products that I've received are Physio Clean Gel, Whitening Tonic Lotion, Pore Reduction Drop and Euphoria HA Water Sleeping Pack

Physio Clean Gel

An intensive cleaning that gentlely removes dead skin cells, excess oil, surface impurities and other debris without stripping skin's natural moisture balance. Physio clean gel contains soft particles that provides good exfoliation and deep moisture. This product is sutable for any skin type. The products they sent me have good smell, so I don't need to worry about the scent. To me, physio clean gel works well in removing the dead skin cells. I don't use it frequently because of the small particles, around 3 times a week. I love the scent while I'm massaging my face, it's very important to me because a good scent makes me relax.

Whitening Tonic Lotion

Unico's Whitening Tonic Lotion promotes more radiant skin tone, provides brightening, anti-flammatory and mosturizing benefits. Their whitening tonic lotion is mild and alcohol-free. I don't use whitening tonic lotion before, and I've given a first try on Unico's. I personally think that it is fine and I love the texture, it leaves fresh and cool effect on my skin. As mostly the tonic lotion that have whitening effect will leaves sticky feel on skin which I really don't like it.

Different watches come out different styles for a person. Usually people wear watches everyday, watches are not only a must-wear-item, it also act as an accessories. I like to wear watch and match with other accessories, style it on my own. I personally think that it's a fun thing and a routine for me.

BabyG BGD-141-8
Apart from the peach watch, I've got another Casio Baby G watch, BabyG BGD-141-8, which I found it makes me look more elegant and tough, a plus for my outfit. What I like Casio Baby G watch is that it's not only look pretty from the outside, it's also an useful watch that provides many functions.

New Hair Color

Thursday, January 17, 2013 / ,

Yay! Thanks to my hair stylist, Steve from Number76, I changed my hair color again. This time the hair color is special to me, as I've never try this hair color before. Blog about it once I reach home!

I am not sure of my color, Steve either. It was quite spontaneous as I never told him what I want, just leave my hair to Steve! To me, I like to try something new and I am actually not the type of girl who will cry because of inches cut, because hair will grows right? But if you're not like me, better talk to your hair stylist before getting any hair style.

This fella can't stop making fun haha

Look for my best hair stylist, Steve from Mid Valley's Number76! ;)

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Bangkok

Monday, January 14, 2013 / , , ,

To be frank, to me floating market is like those sellers sitting on the boats and selling their items while us, tourists are walking on the side path. But, I was wrong! This was my first time to bkk and for sure, floating market is a must-go-place.

Seriously, I never thought that I must take the boat to experience the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. People who're close to me, they knew I've aqua phobia. I'm afraid of going into the sea or river or being in the middle of the WATER! Especially those with greenish color or water that can't see through the underneath. So it was a huge challenge to me! Woke up at 5am and it took us few hours to reach the destination.

Alright, I admit I was scared in this photo.

I feel that I'm so near to the greenish water.. so scary!

Grand Palace, Bangkok

Friday, January 11, 2013 / , , ,

They say Bangkok trip wouldn't be complete if never visit to Grand Palace in bkk. So my boyfriend and I decided to get another free tour and visit to the Grand Palace. Ticket is not included as well so have to pay for it. Grand Palace is a dazzling, spectacular building, undoubtedly the city's most famous landmark. It built in 1782, and for 150 years the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government. The Grand Palace of Bangkok is a grand old dame indeed, that continues to have visitors in awe with its beautiful architecture and intricate detail, all of which is a proud salute to the creativity and craftsmanship of Thai people. Within its walls were also the Thai war ministry, state departments, and even the mint. Today, the complex remains the spiritual heart of the Thai Kingdom.

There are a lot of tourists here, imagine every picture you took with other people inside. LOL

[Adv] Casio Baby G

Saturday, January 05, 2013 / , ,

When I was young, I started to wear Casio Baby G watches during primary school. Always wanted to get a new Casio Baby G watch after seeing the poster of Girls' Generation posters with the watches. And thanks to Casio Timepiece Malaysia and MHB, I've got new watches same as em!

K-pop fever has gripped South East Asia and indeed the rest of the world in the last few years, and South Korean girl group Girls’ Generation has become a familiar name to young Malaysians of all races.

Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun are the nine members who make up the South Korean girl pop group Girls’ Generation. The group gained attention early in their career with the songs "Into the New World" and "Kissing You" but it was in 2009 that they took South Korea by storm with their hit single "Gee".

There was no turning back from there on as the Girls’ Generation began to conquer the Korean music industry with follow-up singles "Tell Me Your Wish" or better known as “Genie”, "Run Devil Run", and "Oh!". Due to online media platforms like YouTube, they also started to garner fans from across the region with millions watching their videos.

In 2011, they returned to the Korean music scene with "The Boys", which was released in three languages: Korean, Japanese, and English. Girls’ Generation have sold over 100,000 copies for each of their six Korean releases, and impressively within five years after debut, the group has sold a total of over 4.4 million albums and 30 million digital singles.

The girls have become fashion icons not only in South Korea but throughout Asia and so it’s no wonder that Casio Computer Co. Ltd. signed Girls’ Generation as the face (or rather faces) of a Baby-G advertising campaign that began in July 2012.

Girls’ Generation embodies the “tough, cute, cool” concept of Baby-G, Casio’s shock resistant watches for women.

Launched in 1994, Baby-G is Casio’s watch brand for young and trendy women which inherits the toughness of the shock-resistant Casio G-SHOCK watches. Since then, the basic shock resistance and superior waterproof performance of Baby-G has evolved with additional features and higher performance, including solar-powered systems and neon illuminators.

The multiple Baby-G designs not only taps the latest fashion trends but also allows individual expression with limited edition models available every now and then, and are available in a rich spectrum of colours making Baby-G watches a highly versatile fashion accessory.

Girls’ Generation as a highly versatile girl pop group whose members not only sing, but also appear as models and actresses on TV, in commercials, and in films, is the ideal match for the Baby-G brand. Also known as SNSD among their fans (who are called ‘Sone’) the group is adaptable yet tough, active,  sporty, healthy, beautiful and complemented by the individuality of each of the nine members’ fashionable lifestyles.

Girls’ Generation will represent the face of the brand in South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia.

[Adv] Liquipel now!

/ ,

Finally my phone is Liquipel now!

What is Liquipel? Does it sounds interesting to you? Liquipel, is a revolutionary process that applies a watersafe nano-coating to electronic devices to protect them in the event of accidental exposure to liquids. To me, in a more understanding way, it is Liquid + Expel.

Imagine if my phone accidentally falls into pool or somewhere else with liquids, I think I would cry die! Because all data would lost!
But now I guess Liquipel saves me, yay!

For your information, Liquipel technology is a Silver award winner of the Edison Award 2012 (honoring innovation and innovators).

Last week, I went to their company and witnessed the power of Liquipel myself. I am gonna show you some pictures of power of Liquipel.

Can you see the difference between the two-ply tissues? One of the tissues is wet because of Liquid of course and the blue-color liquid is floating on another tissue!
