Ten Japanese Fine Dining, Marc Residence

Friday, March 29, 2013 / , ,

Couple days ago, before the class, I managed to spare some time to have my lunch at Ten Japanese Fine Dining which is lcoated at Marc Residence. Surprisingly, the restaurant is easily seen from the outside of the building, and the direction from car park to the restaurant is very clear and straightforward, which is something girls would like, as girls would not want to spend time find the ways in heels, it's really suffering, trust me! :/

Ten Japanese Fine Dining previously was located at Publika, they just moved to Marc Residence not long ago. Envy those who stay here could have the fine dining meal without walking out to other places.

Menu design is classic and authentic.

I like the interior design of the restaurant, everything is in wood and green, closer to the natural environment while having meal at here. It creates a mysterious feel that makes us feel like want to explore more. I also like the pathway, suddenly thought of the Macao Tower's window floor that I've stepped on a month ago, this is much more fearless tho.

Himalaya Ayurslim

Tuesday, March 26, 2013 / , ,

Recently I have a very bad lifestyle, sleeping late. It follows me for years and now it gets worsen lol. What a coincidence, I just did a report on my bad sleeping habit for my university project a week ago, reading what I've wrote down in the report, now only I knew it causes me a lot of side effects, including gain fats.

So, I've attended Himalaya event about their new product, Ayurslim. During the event, I've got the chance to measure my BMI (body mass index) and surprisingly I am underweight even though I feel myself is bloated all the time. However, my fats percentage is quite high, and they told me bad lifestyle such as late sleeping would cause the problem too.

Are you overweight? The easiest way to find out if you are is by calculating your waist-hip ratio. To determine this, just divide the circumference of your waist to the circumference of your hip.

The waist-to-hip ratio looks at the proportion of fat stored on your body around your waist and hip. It's a simple and useful measure of fat distribution.

Calculation: Waist Circumference (in inches)
                        Hip Circumference (in inches)

Men
Women
Your Shape
If ratio is more than 0.95
If ratio is more than 0.8
You are an apple
If ratio is 0.95 or less
If ratio is 0.8 or less
You are a pear

Your shape and health risk
If you carry more weight around your waist, you’re an apple shape, and thus have a greater risk of lifestyle-related diseases such as heart disease and diabetes. You’re also more likely to suffer from anxiety and depression, while women can experience menstrual irregularities and fertility problems.

If you carry more weight around your hips and thighs, you’re a pear shape, and have less of a health risk than those with weight around their waist. Nevertheless, you are susceptible to problems like osteoporosis, varicose veins, cellulite and eating disorders. You are also prone to lower self-esteem due to a poor body image.

So how to reduce the fats around the body? Exercise? Of course! Other than this? Let's Himalaya introduces their product, Ayurslim. Ayurslim is a researched ayurvedic herbal product, helps to reduce the weight and most importantly, it is safe and no reported side effects.

Why Ayurslim?
  1. Burns up fat cells
  2. Stops fat formation
  3. Removes toxins from the body
  4. Prevents craving for food
  5. Reduces excess cholesterol
  6. No reported side effects

Seems like Ayurslim has everything what I want. I am consuming now daily, even though the results can't be seen in a short period, but I guess this is a good thing too, as most of the slimming products provide fast result, the weight would return anytime if you stop consuming tho. Ayurslim is selling at RM86.90.

Apart from the Ayurslim, for external used, there is another product, skin firming body lotion, helps to improve the firmness, texture and elasticity of the skin. Woodfordia and Rosemyrtle help prevent skin ageing, while Walnut Oil tones and firms the skin. Safflower Oil hydrates intensively and helps retain elasticity, leaving your skin noticeably toned, firmer and supple. It's selling RM20.90 only on the market.

Antibacterial body wash is an essential for daily lives too, so there is another product from Himalaya, protecting Neem & Turmeric body wash with herbal formulation leaves the skin clean and fresh.

Miss Selfridge Spring Summer 2013

Sunday, March 24, 2013 / ,

Have to admit that I fall in love with Miss Selfridge's latest Spring Summer collection, all of em! As it's all about laces, daisies, etc.. I love those fancy and dreamy clothing especially when it comes to monochrome. For this collection, I have picked those are black or white, fyi I love white! As I think it's somehow related to clean and pure which is kind of my style.

First outfit would be embroided mesh top. I love this top mix with a simple short pants, which does not overtake the elegance of the top.

I love the sleeve part, which makes me feel like a princess aww

And the back is semi transparent, somewhat sexy and decent.

Paired with some simple accessories

Second haul from Miss Selfridge is pinafore dress with polka dot printed. At first I was like "so cute!" and I didn't have the first though to own it because of its cuteness, but I would like to give it a try! Showing two styles with the dress.

First would be a lil sweet yet monochrome.
I think it's fine for a petite girl like me.

Like the back of the dress too

Another outfit by the polka dot pinafore dress paired with a crop tee.
Simple yet stylish I supposed? XDDD

Third clothing from Miss Selfridge is the 3D daisy trim top, one of my favourite too. This time I have tried something different for this outfit, which is tie up my whole hair. omg it's my first time tied up my hair.

 Am I looking weird? lol
Paired with a black beaded shorts

Fourth piece from Miss Selfridge, black lace crop top and cream boucle full frill skirt. Somehow I love this combination so decided to wear it together.

 Clutch is a bonus

Love the daisies details on the top.

These pieces are my favourite picks! But there are still a lot of it that I wish to get lol. If you like one of the clothing here, don't forget to visit Miss Selfridge stores! Their clothes always selling fast especially the smallest size! Petite girls better hurry up! hehe

So what do you think of my styling post?
