Grand Alphine Hotel, Bangkok

Wednesday, July 31, 2013 / , , , , , ,

Remember the girls' trip I went in January? We stayed at two different hotels as we wanted to try something new. The first one is Grand Diamond Suites Hotel, you can read the post here. The second one is Grand Alphine Hotel, which is the one I am gonna share it now! ;)

Grand Alphine Hotel is a boutique hotel which is located in the middle of Bangkok, walking distance to the Platinum Mall. As I mentioned before, I prefer boutique hotel because the design is more modern and not as dull as other hotels. Most importantly, it's cheap! Superior room of Grand Alphine Hotel we booked earlier was around 1000Baht++ (RM100++) only. The hotel is a three star hotel, it's a new hotel so everything is new and clean. The hotel is nearby the previous boutique hotel that I was staying, Budacco Hotel, you can read the review here. One thing I dislike is the location of the hotel is beside Pratunam market and it's very dangerous. We got disturbed by people quite often for those days, thus walking in Pratunam market was very scary for us. Fortunately, the staffs of the hotel were very helpful, they always fetch us out to main road by their own tuk tuk car and they gave us the number in case we come back late they can assist us. How sweet right? I would strongly recommend this hotel if you come in group! ;)

Colmar Tropicale, Berjaya Hills

Monday, July 29, 2013 / , , , , ,

*Warning: super long post*

Remember how my boyfriend celebrated my birthday for me? My birthday was in January if you're wondering, I know I know.. It's a super late post, but I still wish to share with my readers where he'd brought me to and how was the place. :D I've updated part of the post earlier in January, so Bukit Tinggi was the place he brought me to and Japanese Village was one of the recreations we went to, you can read the post here. Colmar Tropicale is a hotel that made up of many recreations and activities like a French-themed village. If you're looking for some local places that have the feeling like in foreign country such as French, Colmar Tropicale is a good choice for you, a place that can stay and relax at a budget price. In my opinion, I would suggest you to stay a night as there are not many things to do over here, a cozy and quiet place to stay tho. It takes around 45 minutes to reach Colmar Tropicale from Kuala Lumpur.

Before that, we brought our poco to pet hotel for overnight. How I wish Malaysia would be able to bring pet to anywhere just like Europe. :(

First thing to do once we reach destination, check in! As I mentioned earlier, Colmar Tropicale is a hotel so you could log into their website and book hotel. Not to worry I'll attach the website in the end of the post. ;)

 Deluxe type
Around RM290++ during weekday and RM320++ during weekend.

Some Common Questions of éPure Membranous Jelly Masque

Sunday, July 21, 2013 / ,

I've been using epure mask for quite some time and being asked by friends or customers something about epure mask. So, I've decided to gather some common questions people would like to know about and answer it one by one. Hope it helps you to get better awareness of the mask. :D

1.What's the benefits of the éPure Membranous Jelly Masque?

epure mask basically consists of many benefits, with mainly brightening, reducing pigmentation, maintaining moisture balance, refining wrinkles, skin firming, minimising pores, regulating and repairing cell growth. Technically, epure mask gives you a chance to have your baby skin back!

2. My skin is sensitive skin type, can I still use the epure mask?

Yes, epure mask is definitely suitable for sensitive skin. However, if you experience any skin problem after few applications of epure mask, I would suggest you to let your skin take some time to adapt to it. Reduce the duration of the mask stay on your skin, maybe from 40 minutes change to 20-30 minutes. And also, try to minimise the frequency to one time per week. After your skin adapt to the mask, you may apply 2-3 times per week.

3. Is there any difference between jar and box?

Basically, the texture of the epure mask in jar or box is the same. It is jelly mask. There are two packaging of the epure mask depending on the situation. For box, it's better for first time user so that you know how much to apply. And also, box is convenient for travelling as it comes with packs. Besides, some people may think that box with packs is more hygiene. For jars, some people may think that their face is not neccessary to use a pack, so they can choose the amount of the epure mask if using jar.

4. How many times can use for jar and box?

Box comes with 6 packs, one time have to use one pack. We do not recommend you to keep the separate the pack into few times. While for jars, it contains 250ml, depends on yourself, can use up to 10 times.

5. Can I share the epure mask in jar with my family members or friends?

We do not recommend sharing as the concern of hygiene. It's your skin, noone wish to mess with your skin. You may purchase box one for sharing or separate the epure mask in jar with spatula first before applying it.

6. My skin turns dry after I apply epure mask for few times, why?

epure mask is meant for any skin type. However, we would suggest people who have dry skin type use it 2-3 times a week while people who have oily skin apply 3-4 times a week. It's written clearly on the packaging of the mask. Please don't be greedy, apply it everyday. Every mask is not recommend to apply it everyday, it's a common sense.

7. Should I apply toner after applying the epure mask?

Yes, after rinse off the epure mask (jelly mask needs to rinse off), continue your daily skin care products such as toner, lotion, serum and moisturiser.

8. How long to see the result of the epure mask?

Usually, you can see the result after applying the first time. However, it depends on your own skin condition, some people may take few times to see the result. Be patient, epure mask is definitely a good helper of your skin. :D

9. How much of the amount of the epure mask should I apply on skin?

It should be 0.3-0.5cm thickness of the mask when you apply on the skin, and apply more on T-zone or pigment areas. For box users, it should be one time one pack, we do not recommend you to keep the pack after open it, you may apply on neck area if you think that the thickness of mask is enough on face. Usually we would suggest first time user to purchase the box first so you know how much to apply.

10. Can I apply epure mask on eye area?

You may apply the epure mask on the bottom of eye area as it helps to reduce dark circles. However, please try to avoid eyelid area as it is the most sensitive part of skin.

11. Is it suitable for guys?

Yes, epure mask is suitable for females and also males. For males, usually they don't have skin care routines like females. Therefore, epure mask is a fast method to take care of your skin once a while.

These are the questions I can think of so far. Please leave your comment if you have any other question. :D

epure mask is definitely my favorite now and I don't have to jealous other girls' skin! XDD

The Venetian Macao

Friday, July 19, 2013 / , , ,

Didn't manage to visit The Venetian Macao for the first time visit. I remember the first Macao trip was very rush and couldn't get to visit many attracting places. Heard of The Venetian Macao through other blogger long time ago. Something that left a strong impression is the small venice inside The Venetian Macao. Never thought that I could visit Venice before this, you can read the post here. Speaking of the Macao trip, it was my first trip travelled with boyfriend's family. I like to be the travelling planner, for my travel I prefer to travel by own rather than follow a tour group, unless it's a place where everyone speaks languages that I don't understand, such as Japan. Usually I would do an online research and plan my travel schedule. For those who do not wish to waste your time during travelling, do research before that! :)

Before The Venetian Macao, would like to share about the hotel that I stayed in Macao, Hotel Royal, a five star hotel. Price is above average around HKD1200++ (RM500++) but I think it worth the price. From Hong Kong to Macao, take the TurboJet to Macao Terminal, the journey takes an hour and there is a free shuttle bus service from Macao Terminal to the hotel, save the tranportation fee! The location is 15minutes walking distance to the main areas such as Grand Lisboa but the hotel also provides free shuttle bus services to several famous tourist spots constantly, which is a must and must check it before book the hotel.

The hotel lobby is grand and splendid.

Fashion Salad by Dreamscape

Thursday, July 18, 2013 / , , , ,

Took part in the fashion bazaar for the very first time with all the bloggers two weeks ago at SquareDotz Cafe, thanks to babe Casey who invited us and who was the organiser from Dreamscape for this fashion salad! Seriously, it ain't easy to be the organiser, especially have to deal with so many people, I understand how it feels and how exhausted it would be for the event. I feel proud of Casey did well for her event and everything was awesome! Would love to have another fashion bazaar again!

As you know, bloggers own clothes more than any others because of no repeat clothing or whatsoever. It's a great deal to buy from bloggers as our clothes usually don't wear more than few times, at least to me lol. Though my clothing left more than half and still waiting for the new owner lol, thinking should I create an instagram for it?

Babe Casey! Thanks again for inviting me! XDD

Casey and my booth. Mine one only a little bit and Casey is selling her blogshop's clothing!

Not forgetting epure mask, the magical mask!
