Chcocolate Banana Cake | Silver Chef Academy

Other than blogging, I actually love baking and cooking! Always spend hours at Kinokuniya, searching for the cookbook, have no idea but I love collecting cookbooks. Tell you a secret, hmm not actually a secret though haha! I often cook and bake for family and friends, I have never forgotten the look, and the satisfaction I felt. I think this is one of the reasons which makes me love baking and cooking more! If I were to choose one more course, I would love to pick up baking and culinary arts! Baking is fun and interesting if you love it! I appreciate those chefs who put effort on creating beautiful masterpieces, it isn't easy and requires lots of effort. How I know? I am honoured to be invited to Silver Chef Creations Academy to do chocolate banana cake under the teaching of Chef Nick. He is a great chef I would say! Being patient and helpful all the time. Thanks vickybobo for the recommendation! :)


Silver Chef Academy offers City & Guilds (UK) Diploma in Patisserie full-time course for anyone who has passion in it. The course is 9-month duration, with 6 months classes and 3 months practical training. There are only 3-day classes weekly, with two options available. I was amazed by the interior, the workshop is extremely clean and well-equipped. I baked before but always did it at my house, lack of equipments and every measurement also never did it accurately LOL. Now I can't wait to do my first-accurate cake HAHA!

Here comes the hardest part of all, chocolate garnishes decorations! Chef Nick told me every student hates this part because your hands and fingernails will be full of chocolate dirt, it's the dirtiest part. But I think it is the amazing part that makes the cake turns pretty!
