My Plastic Surgery Story In Korea | PART 2

Sunday, July 10, 2016 / ,

Hi guys! I'm back for part 2 update! This is about my plastic surgery story in ID Hospital, Korea. Sooooo happy that there're actually a lot of readers sending personal messages to me, full of love and care, truly appreciate it guys! THANK YOU! *love* I am feeling good and it's been 3 months after surgery, everything is great and I noticed my face and nose look more defined day by day. If you haven't watch PART 1, you can read here and watch the video here.

I had been asked to fast for 8 hours before the surgery because of general anesthesia. For a big eater like me, I've got to say it ain't easy! The surgery was a success though and it took around 7 hours. When I awakened from anesthesia, it was evening already. I'd been asked not to consume anything yet and sleep for 5 hours for the safety. MEANING I DIDN'T CONSUME ANYTHING FOR ALMOST 24HOURS! I wanted to tell you guys, from operation till recovery period, the only most suffering part to me was that, I need to fast and stay awake after awakened from general anesthesia, for freaking 5 HOURS. I remembered Ms. Anna, my road manager from docfinderkorea was there to accompany me, and I had lost my temper, kept kicking the bed, yelling for water. Ms. Anna was constantly telling me that it was for my safety that I should not drink nor sleep. Fortunately I followed what nurse told me, to keep inhale and exhale, to get rid of the anesthesia from my body, so she allowed me to drink after 3 and half an hours.

We went back to hotel on the next day, Ms. Anna from docfinderkorea accompanied us and she even bought the prescribed medicine from the drugstore for us. FYI, we have to get the medicine with the prescription given by doctor ourselves after surgery and it's common for plastic surgery in Korea. And Ms. Anna also explained the intake of medicine in detail. We felt so grateful for docfinderkorea's services. Oh yeah, a whole pack of pumpkin juices was given by docfinderkorea in order to reduce swelling, so sweet! Facial bone surgery's post-care was more compared with other surgeries, for instance, I had to continue gargling every 2 hours, 10 times each, for 2 weeks till the stitches are removed. And also I had to wear the bandage for an hour, constantly for 1-2 weeks.

Apart from that, I was happy to see my face got better day by day. I've attached my progress since day 2 to day 7 after surgery.

SURGERY DAY

Day 1

Day 2
Day 2 after surgery, we went back to ID Hospital to remove the cotton inside the noses. Finally I could breathe! I'd been awakened every minute because I couldn't breathe through my mouth while asleep! I was being treated by laser and facial treatment later on. Doctor Kwon was there and he was so helpful in answering all my questions!

Day 7
Day 7 after surgery was the happiest day, because I could remove my nose stitches and get a hair wash! Tell you a secret, I didn't wash my hair for 7 days AHEM. I know it's grossed! But I just couldn't and I need to make sure that I wouldn't get any infection or whatsoever. So it was safe to wash after a week! And YAY! I didn't look like Shrek's wife now! (watch the video and you will know haha!)

Removing nose stitches was kind of painful to me, the scale was 6 out of 10. If I were to describe how is it feels like, it was like getting hair tweezed! I personally did not like the feeling of hair being tweezed. Some might be unfazed, unlike me, so it really depend. Fortunately there were some dissolvable ones.

Doctor Baek checked my nose and answering my questions. I REALLY REALLY LOVE MY NOSE! I couldn't believe that Doctor Baek has fixed my problem, unbalanced nose bridge, now my nose looked so natural and pretty! I love it!

Here's the progress from DAY 2 till DAY 7, and also DAY 14 after removing my mouth stitches!

Day 14

A lot of online reviews saying that removing mouth stitches was the most painful process EVER. And it scared the hell out of me! I was so worried before removing the mouth stitches.

SO turned out............................................

IT WAS NOT PAINFUL AT ALL!

Oh my gosh I was so surprised that I barely felt anything! Again, it was my personal experience, doesn't mean that others would feel the same. If you watch the video, you could tell from my expression!

Thank you Doctor Kwon!

Here's my X-RAY of before and after, I will explain more on Part 3 video. It was visible that my jawline has been shaved off even though swelling could be seen visibly too. And also chin has been moved forward for a shorter face.

Went to ID Dermatology centre for final facial intensive treatment before heading back to my country! Thank you Irene and Jane from ID Hospital for the caring and assist!

Here's the video of my PART 2! I will be sharing more of the information and details of my plastic surgery on PART 3!

Before the surgery, I always photoshopped my jawline, chin, nose and also forehead. I wasn't satisfy with these parts and it took me a lot of time to edit just A PHOTO. After the surgery, all these problems have been solved! Doctor Baek amended my nose to a more curvy and balanced nose, and Doctor Kwon reduced my jawline, adjusted my chin forward and most importantly, I look younger after fats grafting! To be honest, I was not obligated to share all these information to you, I mean who would tell you that they actually photoshop a lot for the photos. Though some people told me that they couldn't see the difference, because previously all my photos have been photoshopped. But all my friends told me that my face really changed a lot. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I love my current face and I do not need any more photoshop! YAAYYYYYYYYYYY

Enough said, pictures show EVERYTHING!

Recap my surgery journey, I was very worried and scared when I thought about surgery at first, as I didn't have any information about Korean clinics and doctors. Docfinderkorea was there for me to provide advices and support from the beginning to the end of the journey. Even after choosing the clinic with docfinderkorea's assistance, I was so scared about the surgery procedure and pain, but my road manager was there for me, she hold my hand, explained and answered each and every single question I had. I was never left alone and whenever I needed something, they took care of it. I will never forget the help when my hair felt so grossed after 7 days, Mr. Shin Park from docfinderkorea took me to the hair salon to get my hair washed, when I wanted to buy some groceries, docfinderkorea drove me to the supermarket, when I was desperate right after surgery, they hold my hand, cheered me up. It was really touching how they cared for me like their own family. I didn't need to worry about anything during my stay in Korea, it was a very good experience and I would recommend anyone to use docfinderkorea's service, because it's FREE! Going to ID hospital on your own will cost the same, so there is no reason not to use docfinderkorea. :)

  9. You look amazing!!
One thing I want to point out is on the x-ray which shows all your teeth, on the lower right hand side tooth, you have infection that is spreading to the bone. This tooth is the third from the back and you have a large filling in it. I strongly recommend you visit a dentist (preferably an endodontist) to get this tooth root canal treated.
